Making The Fall of Cybertron’s Cinematic Trailer
If you’ve seen the latest trailer for Transformers: Fall of Cybertron then I’m willing to bet your jaw is still lying agape. After spamming the replay button a thousand times, it’s still stunning each time it’s seen. A lot of work went into creating a trailer with such an empowering presentation, and the developers of the game have released a new “Making Of” video that compliments their creation.
In the video the developers from High Moon talk about each aspect of the trailer, ranging from concept, to message, to music. It’s touching to see developers so enthralled with something they’re working on, and it’s easy to understand. The Transformers series has been around since I was a kid – even longer. People from all over the world can recognize these robotic icons, and the fact that High Moon wants to show us an underbelly that we never explored brings the entire franchise into a new light.
Take a minute to watch the video below. I truly believe that Fall of Cybertron will be one of the greatest Transformers games to ever be released. It’ll be coming during the Fall in 2012. I just wish I could hibernate until then.
