Ninja Gaiden 3 Launch Date, Collector’s Edition Details

In an ambush of ninja-like information, TECMO KOEI has just released a launch date, Collector’s Edition, and pre-order details for the upcoming assassin slasher Ninja Gaiden 3. The game is set to release on March 20th of next year, and it’ll hit for both the Xbox 360 and PS3. A special Collector’s Edition will be available for both platforms.

The Ninja Gaiden 3 Collector’s Edition offers a nice package, allowing players to play all four characters in the Dead or Alive 5 demo stage. It also comes with a game art book, soundtrack CD, and a “Duel of the Masked” figure that you cannot pick up elsewhere. You can only pick up this edition at GameStop as it’s an exclusive. If you’re planning on pre-ordering the game, you’ll also be in luck. Pre-order copies of the game will offer access to the Dead or Alive 5 demo stage showing a duel between Ryu Hayabusa and Hitomi if reserved at GameStop. Amazon.com pre-orders will hold the duel between Ayane and Hayate.

The standard game will run the normal $59.99 price tag, while the Collector’s Edition will boast a $99.99. The pre-order bonus isn’t all that bad, but you’ll need to pick up the Collector’s Edition to be able to play all four unique characters during the demo. Either way, you’ll be able to slash through any enemy in your path this coming March.
