Players Get A Free Arkham City Skin Courtesy Of Rocksteady

Rocksteady has announced that they will be giving all players of Batman: Arkham City a brand new skin, free of charge. The game’s director, Sefton Hill, wrote an official post on the game’s forums explaining the reason for the generosity. The post reads:

“We have had an amazing release of Batman: Arkham City and we wanted to thank you all for your incredible support before, during and after the game’s release. As a token to our appreciation, we’ll be offering a brand new, totally super sweet, Batman Inc. Batsuit skin absolutely free! You will be able to download the skin… from Xbox Live Marketplace, PlayStation Network and Games for Windows Marketplace. We’ll be sure to let everyone know exactly when the skin are available.”

On top of the skin announcement, Hill also revealed a code that will allow for the use of the skin in Arkham City’s single-player campaign. In normal play, skins can only be accessed once the game has been completed on its single-player mode, but this code changes that. The code is pretty simple, and to use it all you have to do is input this code at the on the main menu screen after a save slot has been selected:

Left, Left, Down, Down, Left, Left, Right, Up, Up, Down

The code should work on all platforms, and when entered correctly a tone will sound. Hill concludes his post by wishing us all a “great holiday,” and this little gift will definitely help us along with that. Be sure to grab the skin and continue the batty goodness!
