Dragon Age II Will No Longer Be A Main Focus For BioWare

For those of you who wish to see more Dragon Age II DLC, I’m afraid I have some bad news. According to a forum post on BioWare’s website, BioWare will no longer be focusing any attention to Dragon Age II, except for bugs and other emergency issues of the like.

Instead, what they will be focusing on at this point is where they will be taking Dragon Age. Mark Darrah, Executive Producer of DAII, had this to say: “You’ve most certainly heard the rumors floating around, and unfortunately I can’t really comment on them.  However, what I can say is that we’ve been thinking a lot about Dragon Age – what it means, and where it could go.  This past year, we’ve spent a lot of time both going back to the ‘BioWare vault’ of games and re-examining them, and looking at some new possibilities that today’s industry allows.”

Judging by that bit, I’d have to say that BioWare may be looking at more than just Dragon Age. While I am sure that there will be a Dragon Age III coming out at some point, perhaps we’ll be seeing some sequels for some of their older games as well? Only time will tell!
