The Banner Saga
If you and your friends wanted to make a game, and knew how to do so, what would you do? The obvious option is to make the game. However, that’s not always so easy to do as it requires a lot of time. Things like jobs and school can get in the way of you making your dream game, and if you don’t make it happen, no one will. This is where Kickstarter has once again come in to save the day.
The Banner Saga is a joint work of some Bioware veterans who have 30 years of experience between them. Seeing as they have worked on big name titles one such being The Old Republic, you know that they will make a good game. This particular game is rooted in Viking culture, and is a strategic tactical game.
Animation for this game is just beautiful, and I can’t wait to see it in its final stages. It already has double its needed funding, and still has about a month left to go. It’s exciting to see a game that isn’t rooting for you. This game will not always let you win the day, it’s more about how you adapt to the change that happens around you.
