Wrath of the Lamb Expansion For The Binding of Isaac Has A Specific Release Date
The Binding of Isaac’s first and only expansion, Wrath of the Lamb, now has a more narrowed-down release date than the “late May” it received before. Players can now look forward to dealing with more basement horrors on May 28th. The expansion will be available via Steam for download.
Wrath of the Lamb will include new challenges, new achievements, over ten new bosses, more than 100 new items, a brand new ending, and plenty of other material ripe for the plundering. The game’s creator Edmund McMillen really wants to stress that there’s tons of extra stuff packed in the expansion. He even tweeted that the team has been “working on it longer than the actual game.”
Another bit of information that McMillen wants to stress is that this will be the only expansion for the game. He stated to Joystiq, “Development for Super Meat Boy: The Game has started full time and once it’s moving I won’t be looking back!” It’s good to know that while this will be the sole expansion for Isaac, the developer is putting in a lot of effort to make it worth playing.
