Activision’s decision to make the Call of Duty franchise a once-per-year release has upset longtime fans of the games. With yearly releases, one wonders just how much work can go into each installment, and how much the games can really be improved. Well in the latest trailer for Black Ops 2, the company tries to show fans just how much they’re putting into the game.
If you hadn’t heard, David S. Goyer was tapped to write Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. This is the same guy who co-wrote all three movies in the current Batman trilogy. If he can’t make an interesting CoD story, I really don’t know who can. As for the game’s music, Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails is the man behind it all. I have to say, between the two of them, I think that they could make a pretty rock-solid game.
The latest behind-the-scenes video from Activision features Goyer and Reznor, along with the game’s Director Dave Anthony and Treyach studio head Mark Lamia to talk about the story and music for Black Ops 2. If you’re a fan of either artist, I highly suggest giving it a watch.
