The Nintendo Wii U Lineup Has Been Released

Nintendo has already announced that the Wii U will be releasing later this year on November 18th, but we’ve not seen any news on what titles will be accompanying it. Well, that was true until today when Nintendo busted out their gaming release schedule for the system. A total of 23 games will be launch titles for the new system, and they’ll be available alongside the console when it comes available. That’s a pretty big lineup.

Let’s take a look at the games announced:

  • Call of Duty: Black Ops II
  • Skylanders Giants
  • Transformers Prime
  • Wipeout 3
  • Disney Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two
  • EA Sports FIFA Soccer 13
  • Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Wii U Edition
  • New Super Mario Bros. U
  • Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge
  • NintendoLand
  • SING Party
  • Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed
  • Warriors Orochi 3 Hyper
  • Darksiders II
  • Assassin’s Creed III
  • ESPN Sports Connection
  • Just Dance 4
  • Rabbids Land
  • Your Shape: Fitness Evolved 2013
  • ZombiU
  • Scribblenauts Unlimited
  • Game Party Champions
  • Batman: Arkham City Armored Edition

There’s another list of games that Nintendo has listed as releasing during the Wii U’s “launch window” and that’s being described as November 18th through March 31st. This list adds 29 more games to the overall total. Here’s what to look for:

  • Funky Barn
  • NBA 2K13
  • 007 Legends
  • Cabela’s Dangerous Hunts 2013
  • Rapala Pro Bass Fishing
  • Chasing Aurora
  • Cloudberry Kingdom
  • Rise of the Guardians: The Video Game
  • Ben 10 Omniverse
  • Family Party: 30 Great Games: Obstacle Arcade
  • Madden NFL 13
  • Mass Effect 3
  • Trine 2: Director’s Cut
  • Runner 2: future Legend of Rhythm Alien
  • Mighty Switch Force HD
  • Tank! Tank! Tank!
  • Game & Wario
  • Lego City Undercover
  • Pikmin 3
  • Wii Fit U
  • The Wonderful 101
  • Aliens: Colonial Marines
  • Nano Assault Neo
  • Jeopardy!
  • Wheel of Fortune
  • Little Inferno
  • Toki Tori 2
  • Marvel Avengers: Battle for Earth
  • Rayman Legends

That’s a lot of games set to release for the new console. Though it’s gotten a lot of criticism, there are a few games listed through there that I wouldn’t mind trying out. Either way, there will be plenty to choose from!
