Sega has announced that Yakuza 5 will be released in Japan on December 6th. In addition to this information, Sega also graced its fans with two new trailers for them to drool over.
The first trailer features mostly gameplay, teasing at both new and also improved minigames. Hostess Clubs (and the hostess’ breasts) are heavily featured, so gamers need not worry about missing out on any sexy ladies this time around. However, the trailer also showcases its all-new driving mechanic, as well as dance fights and a bear fighting sequence. The combat is also much more integrated into the game itself and makes fighting a much less jarring experience overall.
The second trailer focuses more on story (which unfortunately goes over my head, given the lack of English), and shows old character favorites rendered in the new game engine. The beginning of the trailer hints at flashing back to a time before most of the other Yakuza games take place. Kazuma works as a taxi driver, which leads into the driving minigames.
One of the trailers can be found below this article, but both trailers can be found at the souce link.
