Battlefield 4 To Be Revealed Next Week At GDC
It’s been a rough time at EA recently. After all, SimCity has been a disaster from day one, which is only now starting to get fixed, the CEO is resigning at the end of the month, and not only that, but the company’s one big cash cow, Battlefield 3, has just released its last bit of DLC, “End Game“. Really, there’s not been a lot to look forward to with the company recently.
However, that’s about to change real soon. You may remember back last July when it was accidentally leaked that Battlefield 4 was under development, where it was revealed that people who bought Medal of Honor: Warfighter would get special beta access to the game. Since then there’s not been any information released about the game, though that’s going to change soon when DICE reveals what the game is about on March 26th, and when they also release the trailer on the 27th.
Will BF4 be the shot in the arm EA needs? The company has been taking a pounding lately, and it’s going to take everything EA can muster in order to win back some support from people, or at the very least, keep them from being so pissed off. I guess we’ll have to see next week just was DICE and EA have planned. You can see a short snippet of the trailer here.
