Aliens: Colonial Marines Cancelled For Wii U
Aliens: Colonial Marines is one of those games that is so bad that you can’t help but ask “What were they thinking?!?!” The game has tons of issues, from poor AI to outdated graphics, a sloppy story and trailers that can be called “misleading” at best. If there’s a game to giveSimCity a run at “Worst Disaster of the Year” it would be this game.
The game was launched on the PS3 and Xbox 360, and it was due to come out on the Wii U in the first quarter of the year. However, that first quarter has come and gone, and the publisher only had to say that there was “no comment” on why the game had yet to be released for the console. It was officially announced, however, that the publisher will no longer “continue development of the Wii U version”.
A Sega rep did tellKotaku that the company isn’t abandoning the Wii U. The rep said in particular that they have some “fantastic developments for the Wii U” which they will be announcing at later day. We just have to hope that those “developments” are of a higher quality thanAlienswas.
