Fans of BlazBlue found out in the second light novel based on the game that the 2D fighting title would be getting its own anime series titled “Alter Memory”. The anime will be based off of BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger.
BlazBlue has been a busy property lately, with a new sequel coming out in Japan on October 24th for PS3, Chrono Phantasma. Chrono Phantasma features a wealth of new fighters for players to choose from.
Alter Memory will be coming to televisions in Japan when the fall season starts, and will be directed by Hideki Tachibana and Seiji Mizushima, known for their work on Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni and Fullmetal Alchemist respectively. Toshimichi Mori, who was present on the production of the game, will be overseeing the project.
