As the minutes counted down to the midnight release of the PS4, Sony teamed up with SpikeTV to celebrate. During the hour-long televised celebration, there were a few announcements for PlayStation-exclusive content. Two of the biggest were from Naughty Dog.
The first, and biggest news was the announcement of a brand new Uncharted game, simply titled “Uncharted.” No real details were given, outside of the teaser trailer, which is below. We do know, however, that the title will be a PS4 exclusive, with no love to the now previous-generation console.
Naughty Dog also announced the first single-player DLC for The Last of Us. The DLC takes place before the other events of the game, and helps tell more of Ellie’s story. What’s more, you’ll actually be playing as Ellie throughout the entire DLC. You’ll follow her and her best friend Riley as they attend a military boarding school inside the Boston quarantine zone. The Last of Us: Left Behind will drop sometime next year, though no official date has been set. In the meantime, watch the teaser trailer below.
