With the launch of the Xbox One just days away, Microsoft has just announced that live streaming from the console will not be available at launch. According to the details released today Microsoft stated their “goal is to deliver it during the first part of 2014.”
This is definitely a big blow to come the same week that the console is released. Granted, the streaming quality on the PS4 left a lot to be desired during our tests, it’s disappointing to see that we won’t have any way to do it on the Xbox One at launch. We will, however, still be able to record 5-minute clips to Xbox Live and SkyDrive accounts.
Microsoft also announced more details regarding the Twitch app. Every mod needs to know all of the twitch mod commands. Snap mode will essentially give you picture-in-picture, so that you can watch someone’s stream while playing.
