Bit.Trip Fate Amazes Us Again

Gaijin Games made a vast outbreak with the last Bit.Trip title, but we haven’t heard much from the developer on the new installment in the series, until now.

This past week Gaijin revealed a premise behind the new title in the series, Bit.Trip Fate. So far all we know is that the game will be arriving on the Nintendo Wii system this Fall. However, we do now have access to a new gameplay trailer that was released on the developer’s website, which you can view below.

In Fate players will control Commander Video through a 2D world on a guided path. Using the Wiimote at the screen, players fire Commander Video’s various weapons to fend off those pesky enemy forces. The game apparently features “appearances from Super Meat Boy and Mr. Robotube.” Perhaps one of the coolest features to the game is the amazing dubstep soundtrack that accompanies the title. We have been jamming to it everyday here in the office ever since we have found out about the game.

The game looks really fun, and although it won’t be out until later this Fall, you can pick up the soundtrack here.
