Way back in June we brought you some exciting news regarding Xbox 360 headsets. Specifically that the company had been working on making some headsets that, well, didn’t suck. It seems that the company finally decided that having some decent headsets for their console was a good idea, and partnered up with Tritton to make it happen.
The new line of Xbox 360 branded Tritton headsets features three different price points, each with their own set of features. We now finally have word that the first of these has gone on sale. The first one to his shelves is the Detinator, which comes in at the lower end of the price spectrum.
If you’re not looking for wireless functionality or surround sound, then this aims to be a pretty decent headset. For $80 you’ll get a nice, Tritton headset with a pair of 50mm Neodymium Drivers, a detachable boom mic and selective voice monitoring. Unfortunately there is still no word on when we’ll see the Warhead hitting stores.
