Just last week we made a post about IU Gaming’s winter LAN event, called the Winter Wonder LAN. It’s a great event where gamers come together and compete in tournaments, game with each other, drink tons of NOS Energy Drink, and have loads of fun. When I last wrote, seats were filling up fast, and now those seats are, sadly enough, gone.
If you wanted to get in on the action, the chance is all but lost. There is, however, a waiting list that you can sign, and if anyone drops, or more seats come available, you’ll be contacted and made aware. This way you can still get into the event and game it up! There is hope left, though it’s a glimmer.
This year the event will be held at the Briscoe Dormitory on December 3rd – 4th from noon to noon. Tournaments will consist of Starcraft II, Team Fortress 2, Counter Strike: Source, League of Legends, and more. There will also be dinner provided, and plenty of NOS to go around. Now’s the time to get back in and practice for these tournaments, so get to it. If you’ve signed up and are locked in for the event, expect to see us there! We look forward to another great LAN event with IU Gaming!
