Skyrim Update 1.5 Displays Your Violence Cinematically

For those of you that missed out, it seems as though Skyrim has a 1.5 update in the works. It’s still in beta at the moment, but it offers some exciting new features. The main reason they’re exciting is because they include violence, and a lot of it.

Kill cams everywhere! You can now have a cinematic kill for magic and projectiles. There are some new finishing moves and animations for melee, which is good for breaking up the monotony as watching your opponents die in the same couple of ways can be tiring. If this all sounds a bit familiar, it should. We saw a lot of these features come from the Game Jam that Bethesda and Zenimax had.

There are a lot more updates for weather or nature related graphics as well, which will make this already beautiful game even more visually appealing. Possibly the most hilarious “bug fix” is that Lydia will now offer the marriage option after you purchase Breezehome in Whiterun.  Don’t know why anyone would marry her.
