Tales of Xillia “Man and Spirit” Trailer Released!

NamcoBandai released the trailer for their newest installment to the Tales Of series yesterday, briefly showing off the two protagonists, their abilities, and even briefer glimpses at some of the characters they meet along the way.  The description on their video hints that you can actually choose to have either a male or female character, meaning that Xillia will be the first in the series to have a female as the main playable character.

Tales of Xillia follows Jude Mathis, a clever medical student attending school in the capital city, and Milla Maxwell, a mysterious woman accompanied by four unseen beings. Players will be able to choose either Milla or Jude at the outset of their adventure through the world of Rieze Maxia, where humans and spirits live together in harmony.

It was also recently announced that Xillia would be released in a Collector’s Bundle with a “special selection” CD, a 100-page artbook and a figure of Milla Maxwell, the female protagonist.

Tales of Xillia will see a PS3 exclusive release on August 8th of this year.  Check out the trailer below and get those pre-orders in!
