PlayStation Network “Ultimate Deals” Let Gamers See Up To 65% Off

Today, the PlayStation Network will be premiering it’s “Ultimate Deal” promotion, which will put 10 games up for sale partnered with all their DLC for up to 65% off for regular PSN members and 75% off for PlayStation Plus members.

The ultimate edition games that will be going up for sale are:

•  Assassin’s Creed III ($69.99 PSN, $62.99 PS+)
• Arkham City ($28.99 PSN, $23.19 PS+)
• Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 ($69.99 PSN, $62.99 PS+)
• DmC Devil May Cry ($52.49 PSN, $47.24 PS+)
• Far Cry 3 ($55.99 PSN, $50.39 PS+)
• Max Payne 3 ($29.99 PSN, $20.99 PS+)
• Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance ( $63.99 PSN, $44.79 PS+)
• Persona 4 Arena ($39.99 PSN, 27.99 PS+)
• Starhawk ($23.49 PSN, $16.44 PS+)
• TRANSFORMERS: Fall of Cybertron ($62.99 PSN, $56.69 PS+).

While some of these prices still aren’t comparable to Steam’s holiday sales or Midweek Madness, it’s one of the first few steps that the major platforms have taken to try and make gamers come back to online console marketplaces.  Sony tried this same promotion around the same time last year.  With any luck, the release of the Steam Box will encourage more of this competitive pricing.
