Bioshock Infinite Heavy Hitter #2: Handyman

Last time Bioshock Infinite was mentioned, we were face to face with a nightmarish version of our past president, George Washington. His relentless nature makes him a most terrifying opponent, and it is good news to us that he is hinted to be a bit more of a “few and far in-between” character. Of course, it just wouldn’t be a proper game without several different kinds of heavy-hitters, so the next of kin has been shown.

His name is the handyman, and it’s not because he’s going to help you out. His hands are giant and robotic, sporting porcelain finger that are cracked and chipped. He will use these to grasp anyone nearby at you. When I say anyone, I mean friends, foes, and AIs, which means even your enemies are afraid of these guys.

Sad news about them is that they will be everywhere from the sounds of it. Creative Director Kevin Levine states, “there’s a bunch of them in the world” in the video below. It’s obvious that there is going to be some back story to these tattered, beaten, and bruised cyborgs, but we’ll have to wait until October 16th of this year to find out what it is.
