Games have become a little bit to simple nowadays. There are tutorial upon tutorials, and little icons that flash on screen whenever the game feels like you’re not understanding something. Games come wrapped up in a nice little basket, and some people aren’t too fond of that.
If you are one of these people, you may want to try your hand at the Neo Scavenger demo. There is a closed beta as well, but the demo gives you a good impression. There are a multitude of factors that affect your character, and multiple things to worry about. You can get hypothermia, die of starvation, be punched to death, and all sorts of other misfortunes.
The website says that there is witchcraft and fortress cities to explore, but you must first start of with the abilities you choose from the get-go. This game will definitely suck you in, so make sure you have some time to put to it. This is a small game, but there is a lot to it, and you will need time to get fully immersed into it.
