A Machine For Pigs Releases Halloween Trailer

As if people weren’t cowering in fear of the holiday enough already, Frictional Games has given everyone even more reason to run away and cry this “holiday” season by releasing a new trailer for their upcoming game, A Machine For Pigs.  The trailer seems to enjoy the fact that it does not mean “pigs” in a literal sense.

The trailer features more gameplay than the previous, showing the hero walking through streets, solving puzzles in a factory setting, and hiding out in animal holding pens as the terrifying shrieks of pigs echo against the tiled walls.  As the trailer likes to hint at the fact that men (as a species) are pigs, one can’t help but wonder if the monsters are similarly figurative as well.

The game has been given an early 2013 release date and is currently holding a contest for voices within A Machine For Pigs.  The information on the contest is as follows:

We want your fear. Record your screams, your whimpers, your blood curdling shrieks of terror and you could star in Amnesa: A Machine for Pigs.

We are on the hunt for the sounds of fear, panic, terror, anguish, torture and horrid, awful death to include in the soundtrack for Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs.

Send them as Wavs, Oggs or MP3s to piggies@thechineseroom.co.uk
