The Walking Dead FPS Trailer Is Thoroughly Unexciting

We all know of The Walking Dead. Whether or not you have seen the show is irrelevant, because there are commercials and games for the show just about everywhere. TellTale made an episodic Walking Dead game, but it seems almost natural for there to be another version cropping up for it at some point.

On Christmas day, a video was released for a new game called The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct which is being put out by Terminal Reality. It has not received any warm welcome to say the least. It looks as though you’ll be playing as Daryl and/or Merle Dixon. The graphics appear sub-par, and it seems extremely slow-paced. There is a chance that this game could be worthwhile, but this trailer is not painting it in a good light.

The zombies hardly seemed to notice when someone was about a foot away, and the only item usage we got to see was a anti-climatic head stab with a knife, the ability to throw bottles off of a rooftop, and a few good brain bashings with a sledge hammer. There are some screenshots which can be found here that look a tad more interesting. Hopefully a little more insight will help make this game more appealing. You can expect to see this game out this year for PC, PS3, and 360. Is this something that will be better than DayZ, Dead Island, or the TellTale Walking Dead game?
